For my June 2021 monthly release I selected a more recent creation recorded in December 2020, featuring the Moog Grandmother on bass and lead - such a great synth! The synth pad is a patch I made on the Hydrasynth, and I believe is how the track actually started. For drum programming, I chopped up some midi loops, used Sugar Bytes Drum Computer, and edited those results for the final arrangement. Drum Computer is a neat program I came across on the journey that brought me back to an Analog Rytm; not something I would use all the time, but fun for recording interesting rhythmic and sonic variations for further editing and arranging. Finally, the Rhodes generally just sounds good and I love the phaser on it - but it can be difficult to keep from adding it when it doesn't need to be there. This time though, it fit the mood perfectly and really tied the room (track) together.
